Position Summary

The Medical Assistant Instructor provides high-quality education and training for students pursuing medical assisting careers. Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, evaluating student progress, and ensuring curriculum alignment with industry standards. The instructor fosters a supportive learning environment to promote student engagement and success.

Job Details

Type: Full Time, 10-Month Calendar
Salary: $50,651 - $84,636, based on education, experience, and certifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of verifiable Medical Assisting experience
• Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Arizona CTE Teaching Certification in Health Careers
• Current medical assistant certification (e.g., CCMA, RMA)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in a medical assisting program
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
