Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Rumford Hospital is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care, clerical tasks, scheduling, and chart management at 430 Franklin St, Rumford, ME 04276. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care, providing information to patients to help them utilize clinic services, and presenting a positive image of the organization.

Shifts available: 7:30-4:30, 8:00-5:00, or 8-8.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification on hire.
• Minimum one year of public contact work experience.
• Health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Medical Assistant Certification.
3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
5. Work experience in health care preferred.

Pay Transparency

Rumford Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $22.00 to $26.84 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
