Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a Medical Assistant Supervisor to lead integrated health services at the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center and related sites. You will supervise Medical Assistants, manage staffing, and drive quality improvements in clinical access.

The role combines administrative oversight and patient care, requires Colorado scope compliance, credentialing, and weekend/holiday rotations; a valid license and MA program completion are required; bilingual skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or EMT-B certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise health center-based Medical Assistants and conduct staff actions (hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals).
• Ensure MA staff competency and high-quality care within Colorado scope and standards.
• Lead weekly 1:1 supervision, provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain standards of care through training, policies, and quality metrics.
• Oversee scheduling, timesheets, training completion, and attendance at meetings.
• Co-lead meetings with MA Supervisors and participate in inter-discipline teams.
