Job summary

AdventHealth seeks an experienced healthcare supervisor to support AHMG Clermont and AHMG UROGYN practices. You will oversee clinical staff, mentor teams, and resolve billing/coding issues while ensuring licensure compliance and OSHA safety.

The role requires strong EMR skills, knowledge of PCMH standards, and a patient-centered approach to care, with daytime hours in a fast-paced clinic setting in Florida.

Qualifications

• EMR superuser with strong documentation skills.
• Must understand PCMH standards and quality metrics.
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology and patient advocacy.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff excluding LPNs and RNs; mentor and educate.

AHMG OBGYN at Clermont

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm,

position will be supporting both practices, Middleton office opens in November

• Supervises staff, excluding LPNs and RNs.
• Mentors and educates staff effectively.
• Leads billing and coding issues within the practice.
• Participates in interviewing applicants, conducting employee discipline, and attending required supervisor training.
• Ensures clinical employees' licensure and certification, as well as office licensure, are up to date.
• Maintains education requirements and demonstrates competency for the position. Enforces OSHA regulations and office compliance.
• Follows safety processes and policies to ensure appropriate patient care.
• Provides comprehensive patient care during office visits, including intake, test results, screenings, labs, medication administration, and closure of care gaps.
• Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment, initiating testing, and documenting results in the designated system.
• Passes clinical competencies twice a year, which may include written tests, and stay updated on all policies.
• Submits all required biannual documents to maintain status.
• Other duties as assigned.
