What Clinical Services contributes to Cardinal Health
The Medical Assistant Supervisor role will work closely with the Medical Assistant Manager to manage the day-to-day clinic functions and provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Medical Assistant team. This position will help ensure efficient patient flow, appropriate staffing coverage, timely completion of clinical and administrative tasks, and adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards. The Medical Assistant Supervisor will serve as a frontline resource for staff, assist with training and onboarding, monitor daily workflows and productivity, address operational issues, and communicate staffing or performance concerns to the Medical Assistant Manager. The role will also collaborate closely with providers, clinical leadership, and other departments to support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment. Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients.
Medical Assistant certification required 1-2 years of leadership experience, preferred
