Cell Staff is seeking licensed Medical Assistants for full-time positions at partner facilities in Wisconsin. The role involves greeting patients, taking vital signs, collecting histories, and assisting with procedures.

Some weekends and 8-hour shifts are possible, with a contract-based arrangement and flexibility in shifts. Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited program, hold a state MA license in good standing, and have at least 1 year of MA experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution.
• Licensed as a Medical Assistant by the State with good standing.
• 1+ year of MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and other pertinent information.
• Assist in obtaining medical histories and entering data into patient charts.
• Assist medical team with procedures including wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs and diagnostics.

Medical Assistant Details

• Full Time Schedules
• Some weekends may be required
• 8 hour shifts
• Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

Medical Assistant Duties

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and other pertinent information
• Assist in obtaining medical histories from patients, including current medications, allergies, and past medical conditions. Entering the information on the patient charts.
• Assist medical team with medical procedures such as wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Medical Assistant Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Medical Assistant by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• 1+ year of relevant Medical Assistant experience
