Job summary

Cell Staff is seeking a licensed Medical Assistant to join our client’s facility in the United States. This full-time role offers 8-hour shifts and may require some weekends. You will greet patients, record vital signs, assist with histories, injections, wound care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited educational institution.
• License as Medical Assistant in good standing in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms.
• Obtain and record vital signs, height and weight, and other pertinent information.
• Assist in obtaining medical histories and entering information into patient charts.
• Assist medical team with procedures (wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other tests).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Medical Assistant Details

• Full Time Schedules
• Some weekends may be required
• 8 hour shifts
• Contract Position (flexible with shift availability is a plus)

Medical Assistant Duties

• Greet and escort patients to examination rooms
• Obtain and record vital signs, height, weight, and other pertinent information
• Assist in obtaining medical histories from patients, including current medications, allergies, and past medical conditions. Entering the information on the patient charts.
• Assist medical team with medical procedures such as wound care, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

Medical Assistant Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Medical Assistant by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• 1+ year of relevant Medical Assistant experience
