Job summary

Pro Med HealthCare Services is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, in-person role in Monroe, LA. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with a pay range of $14.73–$20.28 per hour.

The Medical Assistant will provide clinically competent care, perform essential administrative duties, and support providers across multiple clinical services while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical assisting or graduation from accredited program and CMA certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Phlebotomy certification if state requires.
• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in primary/urgent care settings.
• Must pass background check and have valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within scope of practice and ensure adherence to policies.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Perform front and back-office duties including scheduling and data entry.
• Operate EMR and MS Office tools to support clinical workflow.
• Assist clinicians with patient tests, measurements, and specimen handling.
