Job summary

Community Health Centers of America seeks a Medical Assistant Site Supervisor for its Mariposa clinic. You will oversee the clinical assistants, assign work, train staff, and manage performance to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.

The role requires 1+ years of supervisory experience in a clinic, 4+ years of Medical Assistant experience, and relevant certification; bilingual Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and a patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising clinical staff and coordinating daily operations.
• Proven ability to train and develop Medical Assistants.
• Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to clinical team of Medical Assistants, including work assignment, training and development, and performance management.
• Track and report clinic metrics and performance.
• Implement programs to improve performance.
• Build positive relations with site providers and support patient care.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Address patient grievances and report to management.
• Coordinate inventory, vaccination, and other clinic operations.
• Deescalate and resolve conflict in the clinic.
• Cover for absent staff as needed.

We are seeking an experienced full time Medical Assistant Site Supervisor for our community health clinic in Mariposa. This individual should be a high-energy and knowledgeable clinic professional with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated results in clinic management and team development. Key Responsibilities:

M, T, Th & F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

W 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Sat 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (rotational coverage)

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 1+ years supervisory experience in a clinic setting
• 4+ years medical assistant experience in a family practice clinic setting
• Medical Assistant certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent bilingual Spanish preferred
• College preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
