Job summary

The position requires a Medical Assistant program completion or equivalent, and certification may be required within specified timelines. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for external hires.

Qualifications

• High School / GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification requirements may include NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care under supervision of the health care provider.
• Prepare and room patients; obtain vitals and document patient information and history.
• Assist with examinations and procedures; may serve as a scribe.
• Document accurately in the EHR and perform clerical duties.
• May float between physician office locations as needed.
