Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Education or on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant; CNA/EMT experience meets qualification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Opens patient areas, schedules, and records following standard procedures.
• Greets patients, escorts to exam room, identifies visit reason, and records information.
• Performs clinical tasks: measurements, tests, and documentation in patient chart.
• Performs point-of-care testing and quality control; maintains logs.
• Performs wound care, dressing changes, and related procedures under supervision.
• Notifies patients of normal lab results and conducts routine call backs.
