Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, seeks a Medical Assistant to support pediatric care in a community-based setting in Southborough, MA. The role requires completing patient intake, basic clinical tasks, and medication reconciliation while supporting providers.

Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $25 per hour with full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 4.5 days). Benefits and 401k are included as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Education or on-the-job training as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS-CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Opens patient areas, prepares schedules and medical records.
• Greets patients and escorts them to exam rooms and documents visits.
• Performs routine clinical measurements and tests (vital signs, hearing, vision).
• Performs point-of-care testing and quality control (urinalysis, rapid strep, glucose).
• Performs wound care, dressing changes, wound care and related procedures.
• Notifies patients of lab results and assists with prescription refills.
