Southwest General Medical Group, Inc. is a multi-specialty group practice providing care to residents in the greater Cleveland area in more than 15 specialties. Our physicians and other clinical professionals are committed to providing patients with individual attention and compassionate, high-quality medical care. We work closely with patients to ensure optimum health and wellness by focusing on prevention and early detection of disease as well as management of injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions.
Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., with varied start and end times.
Assist physicians and staff for general patient care and clerical duties in a physician office - outpatient setting. Demonstrates initiative to take appropriate action in day-to-day activities without being prompted. Able to problem solve and stay current with Healthcare and payor regulations.
High school graduate, minimum; certification from an approved school with a certificate in Medical assisting preferred. Medical terminology required. Able to perform computer entry and basic office computer skills.
Externship of at least 100 hours or 6 months previous office/OP setting experience preferred. New grads welcome to apply.
Required licensure, certification, and/or registry: Medical Assisting certificate preferred.
