Sentara Spring Creek Family Medicine in Zion Cross Roads, VA is seeking a Medical Assistant-non-certified to support patient care and front/back office tasks. The position is Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly, 8 AM–5 PM, with occasional float.

Candidates should have at least one year of clinical/administrative experience; phlebotomy experience is preferred. A high school diploma is required, with certification within nine months (CCMA, CMA, RMA, or EMT-B) and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification must be received within nine months of employment in one of: CCMA, CMA, RMA, or EMT-B.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year of clinical/administrative experience required.

Responsibilities
