Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of Optum, is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Natick/ Hudson ReadyMed location. You will support pediatric to geriatric patients, take vital signs, assist in procedures, and help maintain a smooth ReadyMed workflow in a community-based, physician-led setting.

The role offers full-time hours with rotating holidays and weekends, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Qualifications

• Driver's License or access to reliable transportation.
• Certified Medical Assistant (preferred).
• BLS/CPR certification or to be completed within 90 days of hire.

Hours:Full Time, Three 12-hour shifts/week. Rotating holidays and weekends
Location: Natick, MA
Type of Practice:Same Day Services (ReadyMed)

Positions in this function performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.


• Assist physician and others with simple to moderate clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, pregnancy tests, throat cultures, etc.


• Prepare treatment rooms


• Perform a variety of clerical functions to support office functions


• Perform related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information
