Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support patients in our Radiation Therapy Team. You will prepare patients for visits and procedures, escort them to rooms, document vital signs and histories, and assist providers with education and post-visit care.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate charting in the EMR, and timely communication with front desk staff. Full-time, day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of six months related work experience required.
• Associate’s Degree in Medical Assistance preferred; National MA Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment rooms and patients for examination and treatment.
• Obtains patient history, records chief complaints, allergies, medications and vital signs.
• Processes and files lab/diagnostic results and clinical notes in the chart.
• Coordinates patient flow and collaborates with front desk for timely visits.
• Assists front office with calls, scheduling, and other tasks as needed.
