Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in a medical office/clinic or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant Program.
• MA-R license through the State of Washington sponsored by Virginia Mason required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS-RQI credential.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Professional demeanor with positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from staff, leaders, patients and physicians.

Job Requirements

Required

• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason, required within 60 days of hire

• Knowledge of medical terminology
