Qualifications

• Six months of medical office/clinic experience or completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
• MA-R registration in Washington required within 60 days of hire.
• BLS-RQI certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from staff, leaders, patients and physicians.

Job Requirements

Required

• Six (6) months of experience in a medical office/clinic or graduation from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Nursing Assistant Program
• Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) through the State of Washington, sponsored by Virginia Mason, required within 60 days of hire
• BLS-RQI
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Professional demeanor with a positive, upbeat attitude, and strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from administrative and clinical staff, leaders, patients and physicians

Pay Range

$24.03 - $35.65 / hour
