Job summary

Ross Education Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistants to become fully trained instructors for year-round scheduled classes. The role offers two evenings per week from 5:30 to 10 p.m., with additional PRN mornings/afternoons possible.

Classes run year-round, with opportunities to serve as primary or secondary instructors and substitutes as needed. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in medical assisting, formal training, and the ability to obtain national certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field with formal training from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant.
• Individuals without formal education must have at least 5+ years’ experience in the medical field and national certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
• Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
• Learn the material and deliver lectures and demonstrations using Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
• This is a part-time position.

We are currently looking for experienced Medical Assistants to become fully trained as instructors for year round scheduled classes 9 hours/week. Additional hours available if you are able to teach PRN mornings and or afternoons too.

Evening Classes are M-TH 5:30-10.Morning Classes M-F 8:30-1, Afternoon Classes M-F 1-5:30.

MA Instructor: Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in the medical field and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements.
• Interest in teaching or prior experience
• Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
