Job summary

Community Care Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant with weekday availability for PRN shifts in Springhill, LA. The role supports patient care, exam preparation, and routine procedures in a patient-focused clinic.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, active Medical Assistant certification (RMA/AAMA/NCCT/CMAC/AMCA) and BLS, with at least 1 year of experience. Strong organizational skills and teamwork are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA) preferred; BLS required.
Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examination, record vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable.
Prepare exam/treatment rooms; set up, sterilize, and maintain supplies and equipment.
Administer injections, change dressings, and facilitate wound care under provider orders.
Collect blood and specimens; perform in-house testing and log results.
Document basic patient care in EMR and forms.
Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as applicable.
Instruct patients and families on treatment and medications.
