The Medical Assistant (MA) works under the supervision of the clinic physician, assisting in examinations and treatments, conducting patient interviews, measuring vital signs, drawing blood samples, preparing specimens, and possibly performing EKGs. They also prepare exam rooms and may handle administrative tasks like scheduling and registration.
