Responsibilities
  1. Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
  2. Manage appointment scheduling and patient chart documentation.
  3. Provide information to patients to help them fully utilize clinic services.
  4. Convey a positive image of the organization.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
  2. Current BLS certification upon hire, maintained current thereafter.
  3. Valid medical assistant credential from a recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization.
  4. One year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting (preferred).
