Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant for the Reception Diagnostic Correctional Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. The MA will monitor vital signs, assist a physician with minor procedures, perform EKGs, maintain equipment, and collect data for quality improvement under supervision.

Current Indiana MA license/certification and CPR are required. Corrections experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana Medical Assistant license/certification.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs under RN/LPN direction.
• Assist physician with minor procedures.
• Record EKGs and collect data for Quality Improvement programs.
• Maintain and clean medical equipment.
• Record data and aid in diagnostic lab tests as ordered.
