Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and clerical duties per Inspira Health Network guidelines.
• Greet patients and verify/ update insurance information.
• Collect specimens, administer injections/vaccines, and record vital signs.
• Enter data into state databases and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Relate instructions to patients and assist with practice procedures; participate in daily huddles.

Job description

A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of clinical and clerical duties while adhering to Inspira Health Network’s Mission, Vision, and Values. These duties include but are not limited to providing clinical and supportive services to patients, providers, and staff, greeting patients, creating or verifying, and updating patient insurance information. Specimen collection, injections/vaccines, entering appropriate information into state database, preparing for exams (including complete vital signs), patient history collection, performing screening procedures per provider guidelines, relaying instructions to patients, and assisting with other specific practice procedures. Required to follow IMG workflow and guidelines, to include participation in daily practice huddles. May be assigned to cover other IMG offices based on staffing needs. Must have the ability to learn and retain information regarding patient care procedures. Must maintain a pleasant and professional image and demonstrate compassion and empathy when dealing with others. Must acquire the ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner.
