Job summary

Avance Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role at our Avance Care Clinic location. The candidate will support front-office duties, clinical tasks, and basic diagnostic procedures in a multi-provider primary care setting.

Required CMA/CCMA/RMA certification, 1–2 years of clinical experience, and an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. High School Diploma is required; bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. This full-time position operates Mon-Fri, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• CMA/CCMA/RMA certification required.
• Associate Degree in Medical Assisting and High School Diploma are required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check in/out, verify insurance and collect copays.
• Room patients, record vital signs, document allergies and complaints.
• Administer medications and assist with vaccinations and injections; process prior authorizations.
• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as needed.
