Baystate Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Primary Care team in West Springfield, MA. The MA will assist providers, perform phlebotomy and immunizations, and manage patient intake and exams in a fast-paced, multi-specialty network.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and CPR-BLS; MA program completion or demonstrated competencies are preferred. No weekends; full-time schedule with competitive benefits and sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred or demonstrated competencies at MA I/II/III level.

Aufgaben

• Greet and room patients, collect vital signs, review histories, and document medications in the EHR.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist providers during examinations, testing, and procedures.
• Process orders, refills, prior authorizations, and doc data within required timeframes.
• Perform procedures including EKGs, vision/hearing screenings, and phlebotomy with vaccinations.
• Review discharge instructions, provide patient education, coordinate referrals and follow-ups.
