A healthcare organization in Colleyville is looking for a Medical Assistant to support providers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing nursing care, taking patient vitals, and performing administrative duties. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and is committed to patient advocacy. The position involves a 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with evening and weekend rotations, and a pay range of $18 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control and confidentiality.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of physicians.
• Take patient vitals and document in electronic medical records.
• Perform radiologic procedures as signed off.

Connaissances

Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols

Computer literacy

Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical assistant

Primary care experience

Active Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist license

Skills in appropriate assessment techniques

Ability to maintain professionalism

Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred)

Formation

Certification in medical assisting
