Job description

We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice from Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
2. Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and treatments as directed)
3. Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to care coordination (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
4. Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
5. Interacting with patients and their families professionally and courteously, tailored to their needs

Required:

• High School diploma or GED
• Either BLS or annual Manikin training including CPR and AED within 6 months of hire

Preferred:

• Medical Assistant course or diploma, or at least 1 year of professional experience
• National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
