Advocate Medical Group in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team with vital signs, patient intake, and procedural support in a busy ambulatory setting.

You will work 40 hours per week with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday coverage as listed; pay range is $22.90–$34.35 per hour, with comprehensive benefits.

Applicants should complete an MA program or have 2 years of verifiable MA experience; phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of verifiable full-time MA experience within the last 5 years.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
