INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Mooreland, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant to support providers with vitals, patient history, lab work and patient communication.

Formación

• Must have current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration or 6 months of clinic MA experience.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication (verbal/written).

Responsabilidades

• Gathers and documents patient information including vitals, history, and education needs.
• Supports assessment and planning of patient care under provider supervision.
• Monitors patient status and communicates changes to the team.
• May assist with medication administration (non-narcotics) and referrals.
• Manages high call volumes with professional telephone etiquette.
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs and timeliness.
• Reports to the assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.

The Medical Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications
• Contributes to the assessment/re-assessment of patients
• Monitors and documents patient status
• Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics)
• Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner
• May retrieve and transport medications
• Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 of months of clinic MA experience
• 6 months of customer service experience preferred
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
