Mass General Brigham is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine office onsite at 981 Worcester Street, Wellesley, MA, 40 hours per week, 8:30am-5:00pm.

The role requires MA experience (1-2 years) and appropriate certifications; duties include taking vitals, documenting records, assisting with patient care, and coordinating with clinicians. Parking is free at this location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• BLS Certification and National Certification for Medical Assistants preferred.
• Direct MA experience or medical field work 1–2 years is required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, document patient information, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician instructions to patients; provide patient education.
• Perform phlebotomy if competent; collect blood or specimens and prepare them for testing.
