Fairview is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team at the Tamarack Clinic in Woodbury, MN. This is a 1.0 FTE position with 80 hours per two-week pay period and clinic hours Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. NO WEEKENDS.

The role supports patient- and family-centered care, maintains accurate clinical documentation, and collaborates with the health care team to improve workflows and patient experiences. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN program.
• Clinical externship required for non-certified MA applicants with less than six months of MA experience.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN)

Responsabilités

• Delivers care as delegated by the physician/authorized practitioner or RN.
• Follows the patient’s plan of care.
• Prioritizes work based on patient acuity and available resources.
• Performs high- and low-risk procedures including medication administration and CPR assistance.
• Documents care in the medical record and maintains timely documentation.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and ensures patient safety and confidentiality.
