Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for Primary Care in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role is full-time with hours Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm and rotating weekends. You will greet patients, document vital signs, and support front office tasks.

Phlebotomy and injections may be required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited MA program is preferred. CPR is mandatory; MA certification is optional.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience required; previous medical office experience preferred; on-the-job training provided for those without prior MA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
