Job summary

Community Clinic in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Primary & Specialty Care Clinic. The Medical Assistant will support clinicians and nurses to provide high-quality primary health care.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, administering vaccines, documenting in the EMR, preparing exam rooms, and supporting patient education while adhering to

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required.
• Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Arkansas High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake duties including vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and documentation.
• Assist providers with clinical procedures such as wound care, sutures, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy.
• Administer medications and vaccines per organizational policy.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR.
• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms for patient visits.
• Support patient education related to medications and care plans.
