Job summary

Community Clinic in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role at our Advanced Health and Wellness location. This position works Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with no evenings or weekends.

The Medical Assistant will manage patient flow, perform vital signs and lab tests, and support providers in examinations. Qualifications include HS Diploma or equivalent and RMA/CMA certification; prior MA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RMA or CMA certification required.
• Previous MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient flow during clinic to ensure prompt service.
• Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests per protocol.
• Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using listening skills.
• Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for efficiency.
• Assists providers in procedures within guidelines of training.
• Translates written/verbal communication between patient and providers as needed.
