Role Description The Medical Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Fayetteville, North Carolina Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, taking and recording vital signs, assisting providers with examinations and minor procedures, and documenting patient information accurately in medical records. The role also involves coordinating patient flow, updating medical histories, managing basic clinical tasks such as injections or specimen collection as permitted, and supporting front-office functions including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out. The Medical Assistant will provide direct patient care support, reinforce care instructions, and help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment while working closely with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other team members.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care to support clinical workflows and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with providers and accurately document clinical information.
• Candidates should possess Medical Office skills, including appointment scheduling, patient intake, and basic administrative support.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Medical Records, including electronic health records, documentation, and privacy compliance.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required.
