Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care South Hampton in St Augustine, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care South Hampton office. This position is for back office. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, assisting a provider and obtaining vitals. Candidate must be trained as a Medical Assistant and be able to perform a manual Blood Pressure check with a stethoscope. Bilingual is a plus.

As a Medical Assistant, You Will Be Responsible For

• Provides nursing assistance to physician
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals
