Georgia Mountains Health Services, Inc. in Blue Ridge, GA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a Primary Care Office. This full-time role (36–40 hours) spans 4 days per week, 8am–6pm, in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

You will record patient histories, take vitals, draw blood, prepare procedures, and assist physicians while maintaining EMR records and timely patient communications. Qualifications include at least one year in primary care, comfort with all ages, English/Spanish bilinguality, CPR

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired.
• Minimum of one year experience in primary health care/family care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record patient medical histories and take vital statistics; collect specimens, give injections and draw blood with detailed documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments and assist physicians with procedures.
• Manage emails, voicemails and patient calls; coordinate refills, test results and physician messages; maintain EMR systems.
