Job summary

Paris Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for full-time day shift with a 5x8 schedule and rotating weekends. Responsible for routine clinical and administrative tasks under supervision, including patient assessments, specimen collection, and documentation.

Requires CCMA/CMA/RMA—BLS within 30 days of hire; high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred associate degree. We value compassionate care, safety, and ongoing development.

How you'll contribute

• AMedical Assistant who excels in this role performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office:
• Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communication changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
