Located at 307 West Central Street in Natick, MA, our practice offers a full range of primary care services - from routine check-ups and health screenings to complex diagnostic evaluation and treatment. This role will be on-site Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
Our Medical Assistants play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to clinical support, the Medical Assistant ensures a smooth patient flow within the practice and assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physician or advanced practitioner.
The ideal candidate will have completed a Medical Assistant training program or possess at least one year of professional Medical Assistant experience and hold a national MA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT).
Summary
The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
