We are currently offering a $6,000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles.

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for performing patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a clinician, RN, or LVN to ensure safe and appropriate patient care. The MA assists with minor medical and surgical procedures and performs clerical and administrative duties related to patient care. Our practice is located at 1030 Johnson Rd in Golden.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Exhibit behavior and communication skills demonstrating the company's commitment to superior customer service, quality care, and concern for customers.
2. Use, protect, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards.
3. Anticipate the clinician’s needs and carry out orders.
4. Check for patients' arrival status and escort patients from waiting area to exam rooms; escort patients to ancillary services as needed.
5. Obtain, record, and report vital signs and pertinent patient information to RN, LVN, or clinician.
6. Perform medical procedures and medication administration as certified.
7. Perform phlebotomy, process lab specimens, and maintain logs.
8. Assist clinicians with procedures as requested.
9. Ensure proper documentation of procedures.
10. Maintain and clean exam and treatment areas, specimen processing areas, and medical equipment.
11. Complete or assist with forms, tracking, transport, etc.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant experience.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client or patient sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ambulatory care or military as a Medical Assistant/EMT.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Experience in primary or specialty care (e.g., pediatrics, pain management, cardiology, etc.).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Willing to travel to various clinic locations as needed.

Compensation: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $28.27, based on factors such as experience, education, and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentives, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
