Endeavor Health in Bolingbrook is seeking a Medical Assistant - Primary Care for a full-time role at 130 N Weber Rd. This position includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus, 40 hours per week, and a schedule that includes Mon-Thu 7:30a-4:30/5p, Fri 7:30a-3:30p, plus one Saturday per month, with occasional travel.

You will assist with clinical tasks, patient prep, specimen collection, basic lab work, phlebotomy, injections, and related clerical duties in a busy Primary Care office with multiple providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred with current certification through AAMA/ARMA/NHA or other certifying agency and at least 6 months of clinical experience
• Uncertified candidates should have at least one year of clinical experience
• Current CPR certification - REQUIRED
• Valid driver's license required if off-site work locations; maintain auto liability coverage
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation
• Prior work experience in a Primary Care setting preferred
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Hourly Pay Range:
$20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• Hours: M-Thursday-7:30a-4:30/5p Fridays 7:30a-3:30p and 1 Sat per month
• Required Travel: Occasionally
• This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy Primary Care office with 4 providers and additional clinical staff.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA , RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health Career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience - PREFERRED:
• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association - REQUIRED
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation
• Prior work experience in a Primary Care setting, highly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish, preferred
