Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a Family Practice clinic. This full-time role supports a busy office with four providers and additional clinical staff, performing select clinical tasks, preparing patients for exams, collecting specimens, and handling routine lab tests.

Position includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a schedule Mon-Fri with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, administering medications under physician supervision, and light

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistants (CMA/RMA/CCMA) preferred; certification preferred.
• Current CPR BLS certification required.
• Driver's license required if off-site location.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance patient care.
• Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct routine laboratory tests and record results.
• May perform phlebotomy and administer selected medications/injections under physician supervision.
• Performs related clerical duties to support busy Primary Care operations.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Sign on bonus: $1000
• Position: Medical Assistant - Family Practice
• Location: 796 Royal St George Dr, Naperville
• Full Time 40 hours per week
• Hours: M-F 6:30a-6:15p, Rotating Sat 7:45a-12:15p, Variable
• Required Travel: Occasionally

What you will do:

• Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs select clinical functions to enhance delivery of patient care. Prepare patients for physical examination, obtain specimens, conduct select routine laboratory tests and records results, routine diagnostic tests and may perform phlebotomy. Under general supervision of a physician, administer selected medications/injections. Also performs clerical duties related to clinic operations. MA supports a very busy Primary Care office with 4 providers and additional clinical staff.

What you will need:

• High school diploma or GED - REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA , RMA or CCMA) are required to provide current certification or registration through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), National Health Career Association (NHA) or any other certifying agency and should have at least 6 months of clinical experience - PREFERRED:
• Candidates who are not certified or registered should have at least one year of clinical experience.
• Current CPR BLS Certification issued by American Heart Association. - REQUIRED
• A valid driver's license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.
• Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation
• Prior work experience in a Primary Care setting, highly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish, preferred
