Job summary

The Gore Medical Group in Poway, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

• Administer medications and perform basic lab tests as directed.
• Perform basic patient care tasks, including taking vital signs such as BP, temperature, and pulse.
• Administer medications and vaccines under supervision of a licensed provider.
• Conduct routine diagnostic tests, including urine tests and simple swabs.
• Contact patients for follow-ups, test results, appointment reminders, and care coordination.
• Assist with prior authorization requests by gathering necessary documentation and communicating with insurance providers.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records, ensuring safety and compliance.
