Community Health Network is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers at ambulatory care sites. You will prepare exam rooms, perform vital signs and specimen collection, document care in EPIC EMR, and support referrals and lab testing to ensure quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant diploma or a HS diploma with MA experience, and will obtain PMAC certification and Radiology licensure within six months.

Formación

• Diploma from a Medical Assistant program or a high school diploma plus 1 year MA experience in physician practice.
• PMAC Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure for Radiology required within 6 months of hire.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies
• Room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider's caseload
• Obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection
• Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system
• Perform Point of Care Testing based on patient's chief complaint and available protocols
• Process referrals and medication refills
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice.
