Job summary

Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Podiatry department in Worcester, MA, to support pediatric through geriatric patients. You will prepare exam rooms, collect health histories, record vital signs, and assist with both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced practice.

Responsibilities include administering medications, injections, minor procedures, and documenting care in the EMR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience performing the critical skills of a medical assistant after on-the-job training.
• Preferred CMA or RMA certification or willingness to attain within 180 days of start date.
• Proven organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of office and laboratory procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc.

Positions in this function performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice. Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, casting and wound care, etc. Assist physician and others with simple to moderate clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, pregnancy tests, throat cultures, etc. Prepare treatment rooms. Perform a variety of clerical functions to support office functions. Perform related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information.

Primary Location: 5 Neponset St. Worcester

Secondary Location: 64 Boyden Rd, Holden- as needed for coverage

• Schedule: Full time, 38.75 hours/weekly, Monday through Friday, scheduling between 7:30AM - 5:00PM

Required Qualifications:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16 to $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
