Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum one year in a healthcare setting.
• If currently an ARS employee, must have at least 6 months in an ARS treatment center.
• Medical Assistant (MA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule medical providers and ensure on-call coverage.
• Prepare treatment teams and participate in rounds.
• Monitor documentation, orders, and compliance metrics.
• Coordinate labs, drug screens, detox monitoring, and medications.
• Maintain clear communication between providers, nursing, and leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of operational systems and processes.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

The Physician Service Coordinator (PSC) serves as the central operational and administrative liaison between medical providers, nursing, treatment teams, and leadership. The PSC ensures accurate provider scheduling, clinical readiness for treatment team, regulatory compliance, documentation oversight, and real-time communication, directly supporting patient safety, provider efficiency, and quality of care.

This is a high-accountability role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple clinical and operational priorities simultaneously.

CORE JOB DUTIES

The PSC is responsible for:

• Medical provider scheduling and on-call coverage
• Treatment team preparation and participation
• Monitoring medical documentation, orders, and compliance metrics
• Coordination of labs, drug screens, detox monitoring, and medications
• Communication between medical providers, nursing, and leadership
• Maintenance and accurate use of operational systems
• Other Duties as assigned
