Job Summary

We are seeking a Operator /Medical Assistant with Functions for front office/Ma/Referral and checkout and others as needed to join our team! As an operator you will answer patient’s call and help them make an appointment, follow up, help with medication, and other answers, rerouting calls as appropriate and as Medical Assistant, you will prepare for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside nurses and medical staff, and assisting with keeping track of tests and lab reporting to ensure everything arrives on time and the patient is kept informed on their condition and care. You will also help manage the inventory of medical supplies, set up machines and testing equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs, making appointments and answering patients questions and is able to look into the chart to help the patient and rerouting the calls properly.
• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Triaging and checking out patients as needed.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
• Bilingual with Spanish language proficiency preferred
