Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Augusta, GA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to perform clinical duties in an onsite outpatient clinic. You will discuss symptoms, obtain vitals, administer medications, perform phlebotomy, and maintain sterile exam rooms while documenting in the EMR system.

This patient-facing role requires a MA program completion, CMA/MA certification, CPR, and TB screening compliance as part of Humana CenterWell policies.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or CMA with 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is patient facing and is part of the company's TB screening program. If selected for this role, you will be screened for TB.

Responsibilities

• Discussing symptoms and obtaining vital signs
• Medication/vaccine administration
• Phlebotomy and collecting specimens
• Sterilizing/cleaning equipment and maintaining examination rooms
• Documenting information into the electronic medical records system
