Requirements include a High school diploma or equivalent, current MA certification (RMA/AAMA/NCCT/CMAC/AMCA) preferred, and BLS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (RMA, AAMA, NCCT, CMAC, AMCA).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and record vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections, change dressings, and wound management as ordered.
• Collect blood, tissue, and other lab specimens and log results.
• Document patient care in EMR and standard forms.
• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments.
• Instruct patients and families on treatment and medication instructions.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure seamless patient care.
• Perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Handle opening/closing clinic duties and patient callbacks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
